Aegis Mail Services was founded in 1994 to provide high quality Barcodng and Sorting Services to business of all sizes in the Tampa Bay area. With a 6,000 square foot facility and one Multi Line Optical Character Reader (MLOCR), Aegis Mail Services (previously known as Automated Presort) quickly became the largest Presort company in the Bay area. A combination of unparalleled attention to detail and the finest customer service support fueled our company’s rapid growth.
In 1998, we expanded our service capabilities to include a second MLOCR that offered incredible sort and address read options for our customers.
One year later, Aegis Mail added an additional four thousand square feet of work space and installed two intelligent inserters. We began to offer our customers a true alternative to in house mail processing. By offering the ability to read Optical Mark Recognition or code 3 of 9 barcodes, our customers are able to take advantage of true processing accuracy when inserting multiple page statements.
In 2004, we expanded our company yet again, this time to provide full service laser printing and direct mail capabilities through high speed ink jet addressing. With this additional line of services, Aegis has become a premier direct mail service provider.
Aegis Mail Services continues to keep a keen eye on our customer’s needs. By analyzing each customer’s individual mail requirements, we tailor a specialized solution that serves to provide a lower cost profile and a more streamlined set of operating procedures for our clients. When requested by our clients, we have added new lines of service and equipment to better serve their needs.
